The series tells the story of a gifted French chef who is unexpectedly transported back in time to the Joseon Dynasty, where she finds herself cooking for a formidable and tyrannical king. On August 22, Netflix subscribers can delve into “Maa,” a mythological horror film starring Kajol, praised for its eerie atmosphere and strong visual effects. Hindi cinema’s celebrated actress Kajol takes on the role of Ambika, a mother who transforms into a goddess to protect her daughter from a demonic curse. Also premiering on August 22 is “Maareesan,” a Tamil thriller that garnered attention for its engaging plot and performances. The film follows a thief who embarks on a road trip with an individual suffering from memory loss.

Amazon Prime Video: Romance, Thrills, and High-Octane Action

From August 22, users can stream “Thalaivan Thalaivii,” a Tamil romantic drama starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen.
