This highly anticipated event promises an extensive array of varietals, showcasing the diverse wine-producing regions of the world. Visitors can expect to discover everything from bold reds and crisp whites to unique regional specialties. To guide guests through this oenological journey, sommeliers and brand ambassadors will be on hand, ready to share their expertise and assist both seasoned connoisseurs and those new to the world of wine. The festival is designed to be an educational and enjoyable experience, allowing attendees to expand their palates and knowledge.

Culinary Delights and Artisan Crafts

The Lincoln Park Wine Fest experience extends beyond the wine glass. A bustling food and beverage market will feature a variety of local culinary talents. Food vendors such as Pies of London, Taqueria Teotihuacan, and Kurtos R us will be offering a diverse range of savory options to complement the wine selections. Complementing the gastronomic offerings, a selection of wine-related craft and merchant vendors will be present, providing unique items for festival-goers to browse and purchase. This creates a lively marketplace atmosphere, adding another layer to the weekend’s festivities.

Experience the Festivities

Beyond the tastings and food, the festival will feature a lively ambiance with music spun by a DJ, creating a festive backdrop for the weekend. The open-air market at Jonquil Park provides a picturesque setting for attendees to stroll, socialize, and savor the autumn weather. As part of the broader Chicago Wine Fest series, this event aims to offer an unforgettable experience, blending the enjoyment of fine wine with the vibrant spirit of the city.

Ticket Tiers and Access

Attendees can choose from several ticketing options to best suit their festival experience. General Admission tickets, starting around $30-$32.50 (prices may vary and include fees), typically include access to the market, twelve standard tasting tickets, and a commemorative tasting glass. For those seeking an elevated experience, VIP packages, starting around $67.50-$71.88 (prices may vary and include fees), offer additional perks. VIP guests receive all General Admission benefits, plus five extra specialty wine tastings, access to a private seating area and restrooms, and an exclusive VIP entrance for streamlined access. These specialty wines often feature premium selections that retail for over $50 a bottle, making the VIP tasting a unique value. Tasting sessions are scheduled in two-hour blocks throughout the weekend, with specific times varying by day to accommodate different schedules.

Community and Logistics

The Ninth Annual Lincoln Park Wine Fest is proudly organized by the Wrightwood Neighbors Association, in collaboration with Special Events Management and Bucket Listers. This annual event not only serves as a cultural highlight for Chicago but also supports the Wrightwood Neighbors Conservation Program, contributing to the upkeep of Jonquil Park. For those planning their visit, public transportation is highly recommended, with accessible bus routes and CTA ‘L’ train stops nearby. Rideshare services are also encouraged to ensure a safe and convenient journey.

Plan Your Visit

The Lincoln Park Wine Fest presents a perfect opportunity to explore new wines, enjoy delicious food, and soak in the autumnal charm of Chicago. Whether you are a seasoned wine aficionado or simply looking for a delightful way to spend a fall weekend, this festival offers something for everyone.
