Chicago’s Roscoe Village Announces Dates for 18th Annual Burger Fest, Featuring Top Local Eateries and Live Music

July 9, 2025

The undeniable highlight of the Roscoe Village Burger Fest is its extensive selection of innovative and classic burger creations. The event is slated to feature the culinary talents of over a dozen local food vendors, with 13 confirmed restaurants already set to participate. Esteemed names from the Chicago food scene confirmed to be on hand include Aussom Aussie BBQ, known for its unique grilled fare; Epic Burger, a staple for quality, straightforward burgers; Fatso’s Last Stand, bringing its hearty, flavorful options; and Reclaimed Bar & Restaurant, promising creative twists on the beloved sandwich. These vendors collectively represent a broad spectrum of burger styles and accompaniments, ensuring something to satisfy every palate.

Festival-goers will also have the civic, and delicious, duty of participating in the popular “Chicago’s Best Burger” contest. Attendees will cast their votes for their favorite patty presentation, adding a competitive, community-driven element to the culinary experience and allowing local favorites to gain neighborhood recognition.

Beyond the Patty

While burgers take center stage, the Roscoe Village Burger Fest is designed as a comprehensive street festival experience. Complementing the food vendors will be a variety of art and retail vendors, offering unique goods and crafts for browsing and purchase. This aspect allows local artists and businesses another platform to connect with the community.

The festival atmosphere will be further enhanced by continuous live entertainment. Two stages of live music are planned throughout the weekend, showcasing a diverse lineup of local and regional musical acts spanning various genres. This provides a lively soundtrack to the event and encourages a festive mood.

Recognizing the event’s appeal to families, the festival will also include dedicated kid-friendly activities. These features ensure that younger attendees have engaging options, making the Roscoe Village Burger Fest a welcoming environment for visitors of all ages.

Supporting the Local Economy

Access to the festival grounds requires a suggested $10 donation at the entry gates. This contribution plays a direct role in supporting the vitality of the local commercial landscape. The proceeds generated from the event benefit the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce. This organization is a cornerstone of the neighborhood’s economic health, dedicated to fostering and supporting the local small business economy. The funds assist the Chamber in its ongoing efforts to promote area businesses, organize community events, and advocate for initiatives that enhance the quality of life and economic stability within Roscoe Village and the surrounding Lakeview area.

As the 18th iteration of this popular event approaches, the Roscoe Village Burger Fest stands ready to welcome Chicagoans and visitors alike for a weekend celebration of food, music, art, and community spirit. Set for July 18-20, 2025, it continues its tradition as a key summer highlight, offering a taste of the neighborhood’s character and culinary prowess.
