This year, Chicago Restaurant Week shines a spotlight on many new restaurants. Petite Edith is one such place. It’s a French bistro. Jenner Tomaska and Katrina Bravo created it. It offers Midwestern influences. Bar Tutto is another exciting addition. This Italian café comes from Joe Flamm. Ox Bar & Hearth is also participating. John Asbaty leads this spot. It focuses on seasonal fare. Open-flame hearth cooking is its specialty.

Additionally, several other new establishments are ready to impress. Akiro Handroll Bar offers fresh sushi. The Alston presents a new steakhouse experience. Ambar brings its unique offerings. Cafe Yaya serves Mediterranean flavors. Chapel Street Cafe and Restaurant is also on the list. CIMA, Deliz, and DixiePura Kitchen are new participants. The Greggory, Il Carciofo, and Ithaki Estiatorio join the celebration. Kama Bistro West Loop, La Lunita, and The Little Lark are also featured. Matilda, Mister Tiger, and Nadu offer diverse cuisines. Nic & Junior’s, Omakase Box, and Rendang Republic are new options. Solette, Sophia Steak, The Staley, and Trino round out the impressive list.

Experience Prix Fixe Menus

Participating restaurants offer special prix fixe menus. These are curated menus. They provide great value for diners. Brunch or lunch costs $30. Dinner menus are available for $45 or $60. However, not every restaurant offers every meal type. Diners can explore a wide range of cuisines. For example, Esmé, a Michelin-starred restaurant, offers a $60 dinner. This menu typically costs much more. It includes four plates. Likewise, Ithaki Estiatorio provides a $30 lunch and a $60 dinner. These menus feature Greek favorites.

A Boost for Chicago’s Food Scene

Chicago Restaurant Week began in 2008. It was inspired by a similar event in New York. The goal was always clear. It’s about celebrating Chicago’s culinary talent. Furthermore, it drives business during a slow season. Choose Chicago produces the event. It’s their official destination marketing organization. The promotion boosts visibility for all restaurants. It encourages exploration across the city. In fact, the event spans 33 city neighborhoods. It also includes 61 surrounding suburbs. Therefore, diners can discover local gems everywhere.

Planning Your Culinary Adventure

With over 500 choices, planning is key. Reservations are strongly recommended. Many popular spots book up quickly. You can find all menus and reservation links on the official Chicago Restaurant Week website. This event is more than just dining. It’s a celebration of community. It highlights the passion of Chicago’s chefs. Consequently, it brings people together over fantastic food. Don’t miss this chance to explore Chicago’s diverse restaurant landscape. It’s an excellent opportunity to try new flavors. It’s also a way to revisit beloved establishments. The news of these special menus is exciting for food lovers. This culinary news is a highlight of the winter season.
