Chicago Fire FC has launched its new home kit. This marks the start of the 2026 and 2027 Major League Soccer seasons. The jersey is named the “Forever Red” kit. It maintains the club’s traditional red base. This color honors the team’s core identity.

A prominent white chest band crosses the front. The Carvana sponsor logo appears in navy on this band. The Chicago Fire badge sits on the left chest. A single star is positioned above it. The Adidas logo is on the opposite side in white.

The kit features a knitted white collar. It has subtle blue trim details. Sleeve cuffs display red and blue stripes. These colors are inspired by the Chicago city flag. White Adidas stripes run along the shoulders.

Engineered ventilation zones are integrated throughout the fabric. These zones help keep players cool. The back of the shirt is solid red. It displays the phrase “Red Til The End” below the collar. Small star details are near the lower hem.

The complete kit includes matching red shorts. White Adidas stripes adorn the shorts. Red socks complete the look. This new uniform represents the club’s spirit.

A Nod to History and City Pride

This “Forever Red” kit draws inspiration from past designs. It specifically honors the team’s 2006 home kit. This connection blends past traditions with a forward-looking approach. The design also celebrates the city of Chicago itself. It reflects the club’s unwavering spirit. The phrase “Red Til The End” embodies team loyalty.

Details on the kit pay tribute to Chicago. The sleeve stripe colors come from the city flag. Four red stars, representing Chicago, are on the lower left of the kit. These stars symbolize the city’s resilience. The blue star represents rebirth after the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.

Partnership and Availability

Adidas manufactured the “Forever Red” kit. Carvana serves as the front-of-kit sponsor. This is not new for them. They have a multi-year agreement with the club. Carvana is also a founding partner of the Fire’s new stadium. This partnership shows Carvana’s commitment.

Chicago Fire FC became the first MLS team to reveal its 2026 kit. The “Forever Red” jersey became available on February 10, 2026. Fans could purchase it online at MLSstore.com. A community launch event also took place. This event was on February 14th at Drip Collective. The team’s home opener against CF Montréal on February 28th also offered kits.

Club’s Vision for the Future

Dan Moriarty, CMO at Chicago Fire FC, spoke about the new kit. He called it a modern refresh of a classic design. Moriarty stated it honors the fans’ legacy. It also pushes the club’s identity forward. The CMO believes the “Forever Red” kit captures energy and ambition. He sees it as a spark for the 2026 season.

The club is entering an electrifying era. This new kit symbolizes that ambition. It represents more than just a jersey. It is a symbol of the team’s drive. The “Forever Red” kit aims to inspire players and fans alike. It is part of a broader trend in MLS. Clubs are connecting kits to local heritage. This creates unique looks for each team. This approach generates excitement. The launch is a significant piece of sports news for Chicago. It highlights the trending nature of MLS fashion. It is a key development in Chicago sports. This news is part of ongoing sports news coverage.
