Crust Pizza Co. has carved a unique niche in the pizza market by specializing in a style of Chicago pizza that differs from the commonly known deep-dish. The franchise is celebrated for its tavern-style pizzas, characterized by a thin, cracker-like crust, and typically cut into squares, often referred to as a “party cut.” This style is a favorite in many Chicago bars and neighborhood eateries, offering a crispier foundation for a variety of toppings. The menu at the Cibolo location will feature these signature pizzas, including popular varieties like Margherita and pepperoni, alongside other beloved items. Guests can also anticipate a selection of fresh pastas, crisp salads, and flavorful flatbread sandwiches, ensuring a diverse culinary offering for all patrons.

Franchise Growth and Quality Commitment

Since its inception in The Woodlands in 2011, Crust Pizza Co. has experienced substantial growth, expanding its footprint across Texas and Louisiana. This latest opening in Cibolo represents the 36th location for the brand, underscoring its successful strategy of combining exceptional product quality with robust franchisee support. The company emphasizes a commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients, with dough made fresh daily in-house at each location, and mozzarella cheese shredded on-site. This dedication to freshness and quality is a cornerstone of the Crust Pizza Co. experience.

“We are excited to bring Crust Pizza to Texas,” stated Carl Comeaux, CEO of Crust Pizza Co. “Our commitment to quality and the unique dining experience we offer sets us apart in the pizza industry. We look forward to becoming the number one pizza place in Cibolo.”

Local Operators, Local Flavor

The trio of Derek Campbell, Nathan Howe Robbins, and Jay Tompkins expressed their enthusiasm for bringing Crust Pizza Co. to their community. “This location is perfect for serving the Cibolo community,” said franchisee Derek Campbell. “We are thrilled to introduce Crust Pizza’s high-quality pizzas and inviting atmosphere to our neighbors.” Their involvement signifies a dedication not just to business expansion, but to becoming an integral part of the local Cibolo food scene.

As Crust Pizza Co. continues its expansion across the Southeast, with plans for more locations in Texas and beyond, the Cibolo opening is a testament to the brand’s proven business model and appeal to both customers and entrepreneurs. The franchise provides comprehensive support to its owners, including assistance with site selection, extensive training, and ongoing operational guidance, which has contributed to its consistent growth and success.

This new restaurant is poised to become a go-to destination for those seeking a delicious and authentic Chicago-style pizza experience, contributing to the vibrant and growing restaurant offerings in Cibolo. The grand opening is anticipated with considerable excitement from local residents eager to sample the acclaimed pizzas and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that Crust Pizza Co. is known for.
